Our Organization

Disha Jyoti is a USA-based 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity (EIN: 33-4048911) committed to supporting underprivileged families and children, including those with special needs, across India. Our mission is to illuminate paths and empower lives by improving access to education, healthcare, and essential resources.

We believe that every child—regardless of their background or abilities—deserves the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive in a nurturing environment. Through generous donations, we work to bridge the gap between need and access, providing support where it is needed most.

What We Do

Currently, our primary focus is supporting children with special needs through a day program that provides care, learning, and therapy in a safe, home-like environment. Each day, children receive:

  • Basic education tailored to their abilities

  • Physiotherapy and vocal therapy

  • Social interaction and enrichment activities

  • Nutritious meals that support growth and engagement

  • Compassionate attention and encouragement

By nurturing their abilities and supporting their daily needs, we’re not only helping these children thrive—we’re also offering their families peace of mind, relief, and renewed hope for a better future.
